The Emperor's New Clothes
The grandeur of the Mediterranean is the backdrop for this delightful comedy. Two fake weavers convince the vain Emperor that they can create cloth so fine, that foolish people cannot see it. The Emperor buys invisible clothes and parades around his kingdom. All his subjects convince themselves that they see the beautiful clothes in order not to appear foolish. The charade is unmasked when a child observes that the Emperor has no clothes! Suggested for grades K-6. Contact : Gallo Center Phone : 209-338-2100 Email : Web Site : galloarts.org
