Doors at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. The Friends of The BOB & TOM Show Comedy Tour is returning to The State with an ensemble of the show’s most popular comics. One of the longest-running and highest-rated radio programs in America, BOB & TOM is bringing Ralph Harris (ralphharris.com), Greg Hahn (greghahn.com), Bob Zany (bobzany.com) and Dave Dyer (daviddyercomedy.com) to Modesto for two shows. Ralph Harris has appeared on “Seinfeld,” “Parenthood,” “Living Single,” “The Tonight Show Starring Jay Leno” and “Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” but is probably best known for his starring role in the ABC-TV sitcom “On Our Own.” Greg Hahn, who has appeared on “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” and “Comedy Central” has parlayed his absurdly energetic, physical humor, one liners and crowd work into a performance of pandemonium and fun. Bob Zany, who started his career in 1977 at the age of 15 on the infamous Gong Show, and who 11 years later became a celebrity judge, has been a host of his own Saturday show on the popular KLOS/LA. His other accomplishments include a 175-lb. weight loss in 1991, and being hired by his idol, Steve Martin, to appear on George Burns' Comedy Week. David Dyer has been doing stand-up for over 19 years, and has worked with Drew Carey, Lewis Black, and Kathleen Madigan, plus he’s been a contributing writer to NBC’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” and “ABC’s Politically Incorrect.” This show is recommended for those 18 years old and older.
