ROSANNE CASH
Rosanne Cash with John Leventhal Rosanne Cash is often classified as a country artist, but her music really draws on many genres, including folk, pop, rock and blues. In the 1980s, she had a string of chart-topping singles, which crossed musical genres and landed on the country and pop charts, the most successful being her 1981 breakthrough hit, “Seven Year Ache.” In 2014, Cash released “The River and The Thread,” perhaps the most critically admired album of her distinguished career. It won three Grammy Awards last February: Best Americana Album, and Best American Roots Song and Best American Roots Performance for “A Feather's Not a Bird.” Contact : Gallo Center Phone : 209-338-2100 Email : Web Site : galloarts.org
