Juline Regional Youth Ballet (JRYB) is enjoying its fifth anniversary and third year of Full Company status with RDA/P. JRYB is proud to include some of the most talented dancers from California’s central valley, and currently includes 16 senior members, 6 apprentices, and 8 junior members. JRYB dancers range in age from 12 to 18 years old. JRYB operates as part of the nonprofit organization Juline Foundation for Children (JFC). JFC’s mission is to provide "all children who have the desire to perform and be self expressive, the opportunity to do so through dance." JFC also operates an Outreach Program which provides more than 60 dance classes a week to local public schools in Stanislaus County. Several JRYB company members regularly aid in mentoring and teaching dance to students in local public schools through the outreach program. JRYB dancers are also actively involved in other public service events and performances throughout the season, including: “Holiday Follies” performed at the Mainstage Theater on the campus of CSU Stanislaus, and "Valley’s Got Talent" at Gallo Center for the Arts, as well as multiple student and outreach performances. In 2014, Juline School of Dance, the official school of JRYB, moved into its brand-new state of the art building in its hometown of Modesto, CA. Finally, JRYB is celebrating with Juline School of Dance on forty years of dance training in Modesto. Contact : Gallo Center Phone : 209-338-2100 Email : Web Site : galloarts.org
