Stars and Stripes Forever A World War II Concert-Presented by Johansen High School
This concert, focusing on the theme of World War II, will feature a variety of collaborations, representing every academic area on the Johansen campus. The jazz band will perform in the style of Glenn Miller when he broadcast propaganda for the Allies. The choir will perform pop music from the good old days, and the concert band will take us from honoring the troops who served to premiering a piece written to honor those who suffered at Japanese internment camps. The concert will help raise money for the Veterans Foundation of Stanislaus County as they work to provide a vital link to services for veterans across the county. There will be raffles and donations accepted in their honor.
