About Us

Floodjay Productions is a full-service audio, video, and lighting (AVL) company based in Modesto. We design, install, and service sound, video, and lighting systems for churches and schools, and we produce live events from start to finish.

Tech Simplified. Impact Magnified.

Founder Matt Robertson brings 20 years of hands-on production experience, from school theatre to cruise ship stages to professional theatre and opera lighting design. That background shapes how we work: we listen first, explain things in plain language, and build systems your staff and volunteers can run with confidence.

Our services include system design and consulting, sales and installation, maintenance and troubleshooting, equipment rentals, and live event production with sound, lighting, and video. We also offer DJ, photo booth, and special effects.

We serve houses of worship, schools and districts, and businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations hosting events. Relationships come first here. You get a real person who knows your room and your people, and who picks up the phone.

Floodjay is a licensed California contractor (CSLB #1141985), a California certified Small Business (SB), and a certified Small Business for Public Works (SB-PW). We travel, so distance is never an issue.

Our mission: We simplify technology with excellence so the people we serve can magnify their impact.
