How Your Support Helps Funds raised through Power of the Purse will directly support United Way of Stanislaus County’s programs, including: - 211 Stanislaus County: Individuals in our community have 24/7 access to a caring team driven to connect them to resources when facing crises, barriers, or emergency needs. - VITA: Free income tax assistance for low-income families provided by dedicated volunteers. - Capacity building initiatives that build opportunities for local nonprofits to access innovative resources and guidance for sustainable organization effectiveness. - Wherever gaps in service exist or whenever emergency needs arise, your generosity allows UWSC to immediately respond with impactful support focused on the health and well-being for our community members.
