Holiday Pops With James TORMÉ! Ryan Murray, conductor James Tormé, vocalist It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Hailed as one of the best jazz singers of the last 20 years, James Tormé – son of legendary crooner Mel Tormé – joins the Modesto Symphony and MSO Chorus to present a colorful concert of holiday classics. Tormé, who learned from the likes of Bing Crosby, Duke Ellington and Ella Fitzgerald, mixes the showmanship of his father's generation with the youthful charisma of a contemporary superstar on the rise.
