Newsies is the rousing tale of Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy and leader of the teenaged “newsies.” When Joseph Pulitzer, a titan of publishing, raises distribution prices at the newsboys’ expense, Jack rallies newsies from around the city to strike against the unfair conditions and fight for what is right. The show is packed with non-stop thrills and a timeless message for the entire family, and features a Tony Award-winning score by Alan Menken and Jack Feldman.
