| Presented by Modesto Christian School Modesto Christian Performing Arts joyfully presents Rodgers & Hammerstein's musical theatre classic, OKLAHOMA! Performed by nearly sixty middle and high school students from Modesto Christian School, this show is sure to offer audiences of all ages a rip-roarin' good time with high energy song and dance numbers, compelling characters, and colorful costumes. Set in Western Indian territory just after the turn of the century, the high-spirited rivalry between the local farmers and cowboys provides the background against which Curly, a handsome cowboy, and Laurey, a winsome farm girl, play out their love story. |
