How is Christmas celebrated in the Southwest? With traditional songs and carols played by a Mariachi band, of course! And who better than Mariachi Sol de Mexico, a 13-piece ensemble of musicians and singers with a blazing sound! Get into the holiday spirit with this fusion of the colors and the traditions of Mexico and the United States at Christmas time. "A Merri-Achi Christmas" is a unique fiesta celebrating both sides of the border! Under the artistic direction of Jose Hernandez, Mariachi Sol de Mexico has been nominated three times for a Grammy Award, and has performed and recorded with Linda Ronstadt, Vicki Carr, Jose Feliciano, Willie Nelson, Juan Gabriel, Vicente Fernandez, Luis Miguel and The Beach Boys.
