Hola hola Modesto and the surrounding 209 cities, you’ve been asking for her and she’s here! Chepa’s Kid is back! Are you ready to have a fun night out at the one and only historical State Theatre? Modesto’s Glory Magaña will be hosting this event and she is bringing some funny friends along with her! Your favorite Punny Pilipino, PX Floro. Following is none other than Julian ‘El Gordo Mamon’ Gonzalez and featuring is Rudy Ortiz coming to us from the bay. And lastly, but most definitely not least is your headliner for the night, JValentino! Get your tickets ASAP because we will be sure to have an amazing turnout with this lineup! 18+ Comedy Event Doors at 7; show at 8 p.m. Tickets will range from $35, $45 & $55. HOST: Glory Magaña: Glory was born to entertain! As the youngest of 15 there was never a dull moment or a night without an audience! Glory started her career in 2012 and first performed at The Purple Onion in San Francisco, CA, the same stage where Phyllis Diller, Woody Allen, and Richard Pryor paved their ways to fame. She made her way around the Bay Area performing at Cobb’s Comedy, San Francisco Punchline, Tommy Ts in Pleasanton, and the Sacramento Punchline. She then went on to perform in Los Angeles at the Icehouse in Pasadena, the Laugh Factory in Long Beach and Hollywood, and The Comedy Store. Glory just moved back from New York and was able to share the stage with Jessica Kirson and Cipha Sounds at The Stand NYC as well as perform at The New York Comedy Club. Glory has also performed in Canada and Mexico. You’ll be sure to have fun watching her animated presence on stage! FEATURING COMEDIANS: PX Floro: PX is a talented standout female comic originating from San Jose, CA; Home base of the San Jose Improv. She has opened for Esther Povitsky, Joe Wong, Michael Ian Black and more! PX produces and hosts weekly shows at Fox Tale Fermentation in San Jose and Groundstack Coffee in Stockton. Listening to her after a few minutes, you will see why she has a legion of fans and supporters. With a ‘Tell it like it is’ attitude that charms everyone instantly, if you haven’t already been mesmerized by her big hair and deep voice. Listen to her experiences as she journeys through life, a woman you can never forget especially with a name and voice like PX. Julian “El Gordo Mamon” González: El Gordo Mamon is a Mexican American full-time stand-up comedian and content creator whose relatable and original digital skits in English and Spanish have earned hundreds of thousands of views online and helped to build an ever-growing fanbase. The U.S. Army Veteran has a bachelor’s degree in Entertainment Business Marketing from LA Film School. Rudy Ortiz: Rudy is a nationally touring standup comic and Bay Area radio personality. He has opened for HBO’s Frankie Quinones aka Cholo Fit Creeper. HEADLINER: JValentino: The word “Entertainer” conjures up a few images in many people’s minds when they hear the word. One would like to think that J. Valentino could be counted amongst them. Born Julian Valentino Terriquez, a Los Angeles native with a passion for entertaining the masses. Throughout his videos, stand-up shows, and live DJ sets, he uses an extensive repertoire of distinctive styles to create originality in everything he touches. As an artist dedicated to everything from turntablism to crowd control to stand-up shows, JValentino has established himself as a legitimate international artist. By incorporating comedy and DJ videos into his own unique style, JValentino has developed an enormous global following with millions of followers on social media. A great MC is not afraid to grab a microphone and show off his skills of bringing the party to life. Mr. Valentino is no exception. When Valentino performs live, he promises to give you everything that he has to offer in terms of a live performance, as his passion for what he does is like nothing you have ever seen before.
