SUMMARY:Regional “Eradicate Retail Theft” Summit
DESCRIPTION:You are invited to join us for the Regional "Eradicate Retail Theft" Summit on Friday\, April 10\, 2026\, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (light breakfast provided) at:\n\n\n	Del Rio Country Club\n	801 Stewart Road\n	Modesto\, CA 95356\n\n \n\nThis regional summit will bring together business leaders\, residents\, law enforcement agencies\, and District Attorney offices to discuss coordinated strategies to combat organized retail crime. Retail theft continues to impact businesses and communities throughout our region\, and addressing it effectively requires strong collaboration and shared intelligence.\n\n \n\nResidents also play an important role as a force multiplier by using their cellphones to document suspicious or criminal activity and provide structured\, time-stamped information that can strengthen investigations and support successful prosecutions.\n\n \n\nThe program will include presentations highlighting regional law enforcement best practices\, along with two presentations from the award-winning STAART (Standing Together Against All Regional Theft) program. These presentations will demonstrate how organized PDF documentation can enhance online police report submissions by improving evidentiary quality at intake. In addition\, Peregrine Technologies has been invited to present its real-time decision and operations management platform. Their attendance confirmation is pending. Together\, STAART's community-generated documentation and Peregrine's integrated analytics align frontline intelligence with advanced operational tools to improve investigative efficiency and prosecutorial outcomes.\n\n \n\nWe encourage participation from law enforcement agencies\, District Attorney offices\, loss prevention professionals\, elected officials\, County CAOs and City Managers\, economic development leaders\, and public safety stakeholders.\n\nThe Eradicate Retail Theft Summit is hosted by Assemblymembers Heath Flora\, Juan Alanis (invited)\, and Rhodesia Ransom (invited) in partnership with the Modesto and Stockton Chambers of Commerce.\n\nPlease RSVP to Trish Christensen at tchristensen@modchamber.org.\n\n \n\nRespectfully\,\n\n \n\nTrish Christensen\, CEO Timm Quinn\, CEO\n\nModesto Chamber of Commerce Stockton Chamber of Commerce
