DESCRIPTION:The Modesto Marathon course features a downtown 7 a.m. start\, and travels through scenic tree-lined historic college neighborhood\, including the celebrated "house in the middle of the road." Runners will then head past Modesto Junior College's west campus\, and into the countryside viewing the beautiful Diablo Mountain Range\, passing the San Joaquin River National Wildlife Refuge. Runners then head back toward town\, finishing near the host Doubletree Hotel/Modesto Convention Center. The Marathon features a half marathon & 5K.\n\n			\n\n			Immediately following the Marathon head over to the FINISH LINE FESTIVAL!
