DESCRIPTION:The Modesto Gospel Mission presents a rockin' good evening with MAC POWELL and the FAMILY REUNION.\n\nMac Powell was the lead singer for the contemporary Christian rock band THIRD DAY for the past 25 years. THIRD DAY helped transform Christian music\, selling 10 million albums\, earning 4 Grammy Awards\, 24 Dove Awards\, and 1 American Music Award.\n\nThis concert will feature foot-stompin'\, hand clappin' tunes which pay tribute to Mac's Southern roots and American rock music\, blending classic and sing-along Gospel\, Country\, and American Rock songs\, combined with some of Mac's latest original tunes and favorite THIRD DAY songs that he has written.\n\nSponsored by ALLCARE IPA\, proceeds from this Gala will benefit the homeless\, working poor\, and at-risk youth that are served by the Modesto Gospel Mission\, a local 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Since 1948\, the Mission has been a beacon of hope to the broken and downtrodden in Stanislaus County. The Mission provides nutritious meals\, warm beds\, and a safe haven to men\, women\, and children every day of the year.\n\nJoin us for an evening of great food\, fellowship\, and music\, and support a wonderful cause that affects us all.
