Their classic hits include “Together”\, “Gonna Find Her”\, “Memories” and “Zoot Suit Boogie.”\n\nThee Midniters was among the first Chicano rock bands to have a major hit in the United States. Also emerging from East LA\, the band recorded hits including “Land of a Thousand Dances” and “Whittier Boulevard\,” while being among the first rock acts to incorporate Chicano themes (“Chicano Power” and “The Ballad of César Chávez.”) \n\nFiery passion\, rhythm and soul describe the music of guitarist Emilio: Modern Gypsy. He skillfully blends elements of Spanish Flamenco guitar with South American\, African and Middle Eastern rhythms\, and then adds touches of modern and new age influences to make his music both a meaningful and energetic experience.
