DESCRIPTION:The focus of the Inspire Youth Inspire Dreams Expo is to encourage students to explore their\n\nnatural interests\, exposing them to various industries and career fields\, paving the way for college and career technical training. \n\n\n\nWe invite local businesses across all sectors of industry to showcase their business and career to over 4\,000 students from districts throughout Stanislaus County. This includes Modesto City Schools\, Empire\, and Sylvan Union. Students will visit your individual business booth to explore their future career opportunities within the 12 sectors of business and industry available to them in our community.\n\n\n\nModesto City Schools will be showcasing their diverse and amazing Career Technical Education (CTE)\n\npathways. This will highlight the wide array of rigorous and relevant CTE programs available.\n\n\n\nThese programs combine academic knowledge with technical skills and application of learning in hands-on\, real-life contexts to prepare students with viable skills for today's increasingly complex workforce. Students will apply this experience to their high school balloting process. This is your opportunity to inspire their learning pathway choices as they prepare to move on to high school. The final destination will be each student's preparedness for pursuing their passion by moving into a career training program and/or college that best suites them.\n\n\n\nThrough the Inspire Youth Inspire Dreams Expo\, our goal is to facilitate each and every participating\n\nstudent in recognizing their dreams and discovering the opportunity to build their future career\n\nofferings here in Stanislaus County.
