DESCRIPTION:The City of Modesto\, along with a number of other organizations\, will host Modesto Bike to Work Day. All-day secured bicycle parking is available for free!\n\n			\n\n			Before heading to work\, ride your bikes to the 10th Street Plaza and a continental breakfast will be provided to all bicycle riders who commute to work on a bicycle. The first 150 riders will receive a free T-shirt and bicycle incentives. All riders can enter the prize drawing and win one of several prizes\n\n			\n\n			If you would like to bike with the Mayor\, meet at 6:00am at the Village Bakery in the McHenry Village. The escorted ride to 10th Street Place will depart at 6:30am.\n\n			\n\n			The goals of Bike to Work Day are to develop bicycling as a form of transportation to the work place\, decrease traffic congestion\, improve air quality\, and promote safe bicycle commuting. For those whose commute may seem too daunting to complete entirely by bicycle\, Modesto Area Express (MAX) and Stanislaus Regional Transit (StaRT) offer busses that are equipped with bicycle friendly bike racks.
