Kids' Day provides an opportunity for you to help local children. The Modesto Bee in partnership with The Salvation Army Red Shield Community Center, is dedicating May 14, 2019 to kids. Last year, the Kids' Day efforts netted over $75,000 to fund afterschool tutoring programs, scouting troops, summer day camp & camp, basketball, baseball and other sport programs.
