Carolyn Huff Photography Studio and Gallery welcomes Carolyn Doub as our featured artist beginning April 3, 2018. Carolyn Doub and her husband have lived in Modesto for over 30 years and spent the last decade in the Palm Springs area. She says, “Art and music have been the love of my life since childhood. I would rather paint than sleep or eat! After High school, I sold my violin, but always had Art as my major. I have shown in Catalina Island Art Gallery as well as Wrigley’s Mansion - Mt. Aida and the Glenmore Plaza Hotel.” Carolyn’s work is derived from photographs she has taken while traveling. She has been able to visit much of California, Hawaii and Arizona. Also, she and her husband have traveled to France, England, Scotland, Israel, Jordan and Greece. Carolyn Doub paints using oil, acrylic and water color. She has been a member of the Palm Springs-Desert Art Center and the Coachella Valley Water Color Society. Carolyn also offers Giclee’ with Certification and Artist Enhancement or Commission work as well. For the past 25 years she initiated art groups in Modesto and Palm Springs with the goal of “Improving our painting and learning from each other”. After being away for many years, Carolyn and her husband are enjoying living in Modesto again. The art work of Carolyn Doub will be on display at Carolyn Huff Photography Studio and Gallery April - June 2018. The gallery is open Tuesday through Friday.
