In A Christmas Carol, based on the novella by Charles Dickens, sour and stingy Ebenezer Scrooge’s ideological, ethical, and emotional transformation takes place after the supernatural visits of Jacob Marley and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future.
